Douglas has 30 years of experience in the global oil & gas and energy industry. He has had responsibility in all aspects of the energy service sector including sales & marketing, product development, human resources and operational management across the world. Douglas spent many years of his career living and working in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe giving him an overview of Interantional as well as the North American markets. Having worked for the largest providers of services the oil & gas sector including as the president of the largest segment of and integrated supplier and as the CEO of a mid size publicly traded company Douglas has an in depth knowledge of the drivers of the market and the expectations of investors . More recently he has worked as Operational Partner for the Energy portfolio of a large Private Equity firm, where he was involved in identifying target companies, acquiring and managing portfolio companies and making strategic divestitures.
