Natasha Gurevich is a powerhouse Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) with 26 years of experience driving transformational change and operational excellence in global enterprises. With an outstanding track record, Natasha has led Procurement functions with Fortune 500 companies to deliver over $17B in cumulative savings, streamline operations, and cultivate inclusive leadership cultures.
At Nike, Inc, where she served as VP and CPO until 2024, Natasha expanded Procurement’s impact, growing spend under management from $10B to $15B and increasing savings from $274M to $1.3B in just three years. Her visionary leadership transformed Procurement from a transactional role into a strategic partner, with lasting effects on cost management, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation.
Natasha’s strategic expertise also shone at Salesforce and McKesson, where she played a
crucial role in revamping cost structures and integrating acquired entities. At PayPal, she built the procurement organization from the ground up post-eBay acquisition, expertly navigating the complexities of financial services and online payments.
Her influence extends beyond traditional Procurement, with impactful work in consulting and BPO for giants like Procurian (now Accenture) and IBM, serving top-tier clients such as Clorox, Starbucks, and Airbus. Natasha is known for ensuring procurement outcomes directly align with financial performance.
Natasha’s leadership journey began when she founded and led the Superreferent School, the first private educational entity in the former USSR, before moving to the U.S. in 1996. Her commitment to high performance, authenticity, and people development has been a hallmark of her career. She believes that inclusion and transparency are the backbone of trust.
In 2024, Natasha founded Candor Procurement, an advisory firm committed to unlocking the full potential of Procurement. Candor helps to optimize spend management by assessing, designing and delivering solutions that transform businesses’ bottom line. Her team of self-proclaimed procurement enthusiasts has an extensive experience in implementing comprehensive, enterprise-wide procurement transformations and are fierce advocates for the value procurement can bring.
Natasha holds degrees from the Moscow Academy of Physical Education, the University of
San Francisco, and an Executive Leadership certification from Wharton. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and is the proud mother of an adult child and a mentor to many grown-up professionals.
