Pedro Padilla has over 20 years of supply chain management and manufacturing operations experience.

Pedro is currently a Senior Vice President of Operations of Seurat Technologies, a 3D printing startup in the Boston, MA area. Prior to joining Seurat, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Operations at Electronics for Imaging (EFI), he managed all end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing operations across EFI’s 44 offices, 7 manufacturing sites, and 3 contract manufacturing partnerships in the US, Europe, and Asia.  During his 5 years at EFI, he executed on his $100 million productivity vision, an integral part of EFI’s take-private transition.

Prior to Electronics for Imaging, Pedro managed the start-up Model 3 program for batteries and powertrains for Tesla at their Gigafactory in Reno NV.  His operations management footprint covered 9 distinct business units, with over 6,000 employees.  With his supply chain and manufacturing management skill sets, he helped Tesla’s Gigafactory achieve unprecedented production rates for batteries and powertrains.  Using cutting-edge automation technology to outperform traditional manufacturing principles, Pedro pushed Model 3 component production to successfully tackle aggressive output targets.

After graduating from Texas A&M University, Pedro joined PepsiCo in San Antonio, TX, where he worked on their long-range strategic planning for supply chain management and manufacturing optimization.  He ultimately became head of supply chain management for PepsiCo’s Mid-Atlantic region, which included 7 manufacturing sites, 7 distribution warehouses, and 900 employees spanning 6 states.
